I was going to finish this season before tweaking the settings, but this most recent sim is forcing me to do it now. The hitting is way too high. I need to adjust the settings and find out what works best. The pitching should be much better than the statistics. I guess I should have tweaked them more than I did after the contraction from 30 to 28 to 26 to 20 teams or whatever it was.

I will be uploading the site with the current results, but please don't send trades or changes until I post the next sim thread. It may be a while.

Well, after seeing 26 - 1 and 31 - 12 against Arizona with 20 walks or so as well, yeah...something is wrong lol. Both league ERAs are over 5. They shouldn't be that high.

I could finish the season and work on it after, if that's what people want. That was my plan, but after ths crazy sim I figured it was best to fix it.

Does the depth of pitching talent suck? Or number of bad teams (like mine) outweigh the good?

There probably is too much hitting talent and not enough pitching talent, but things still seem off. Look at the top 10 ERA leaders in both leagues. About half of the 20 pitchers have ERAs over 4. That's not top 10 material. I did add pitching depth this draft, but it still seems like there are plenty of solid pitchers ratings-wise that are sucking.

Lol don't matter to me. My hitting isn't playing its roll in inflating ERAs. They are terrible.

I ran another test sim (I did the first one last night) with much higher totals and the results were a little better, but not much.
