2024 Free Agency Period 1: Now until Tuesday 1/17 2PM eastern

These rules are pulled right from the FAQ. I don't have any offers for my team. I may offer some during the scraps. Regardless, I'll PM my offers to someone prior to starting a period (before anyone sends me any offers) so someone else can verify my offers.



Period 1 will be 10 days.

1) All offers must be sent to me through PM in the following format:

Team-Offers-Pos-Name-Years-Amount-Per Year
Ex: Rangers offer SS-Michael Young 5 Years @ $5,000,000 Per Year

2) I will accept offers on a maximum of 20 different players per team. You can bid on all 20 players at once if you want. If you are outbid, then you will be able to bid on a different player instead. If you are outbid on a player, then you are allowed to re-bid on that player and it will not count against your total offers. These 20 players will span all 3 free agent periods.

3) Offers received before the stated start time will not be accepted.

4) Offers received after the stated end time will not be accepted.

5) You cannot change your offer once it has been submitted. You can bid again however if you feel it may not be high enough.

6) Any player signed to a major league contract during FA will not be eligible to be traded until July 1st. Any trades sent in involving those players before that time will be ignored.

7) Trading during Free Agency is allowed but you are responsible for your own FA money situation.

8) If a player does not like the offering team, I will inform the GM via PM and he will be able to bid on another player assuming there is enough time for me to do so.

9) You can retract your offer on a player, but he will most likely not listen to any more offers from you for the rest of free agency.

Financial Rules
1) Each team will be able to spend what your financial page allows during the entire FA signing periods.

2) If you want to offer $10 million or more on a certain player, you are limited to 3 of those types of offers. Two of them can be between $10-$15 million while the 3rd one can be up to $20 million. All 3 offers can be $10-$15 million but you are only allowed 1 offer of more than $15 million. If you are outbid on the player, or the player doesn't like your team, you will be able to offer on somebody else instead.

Note: This will be blind bidding. I will load all the offers as soon as I can before the end of the period and then post the signings in this thread. The site will be fully uploaded after all periods so you can see the signings and your team pages.

Please try to keep all of your initial offers limited to 1 private message. I'll respond to let you know if they all were accepted or if someone didn't like your team.

Also, please pay attention to the FA money you have available. Regardless of the rules, the game won't allow you to offer more money than you have. So while you may want to offer a $15 mil and two $10 mil contracts, the game won't allow you to if you only have $30 mil available.

Maybe he won't sign with anyone at all. Anyways all my offers are in, wanted to add a starter but about every decent one hated my franchise. Hopefully We shall see a George-esque spending spree from the Yanks to start off the fun .

He came after I Gave up Milwaukee I think. The guy I offered was a cornerstone or about to become a cornerstone of the franchise. Just glad to see he fully developed.
