Toronto proud to select

I'm going to auto Shadow. There's really no sense of urgency to hurry this thing or anything, since we're already 11 picks through and haven't simmed opening day yet. I think it's moving along fine and I'd otherwise give it a little more time. But it's been 3 days already and Shadow is known to disappear for a week here or there. I'll find something that fits his team and edit this post in a second...
Just buzz me on aim when you draft. Ill pick right after that.
I'm allergic to AIM similar to Koz.
But I will PM you.
CLE auto'd C Jay Donnelly ... debated between who was a better choice, him or Cuneo, and while Cuneo is 2 yrs younger and rated better in some categories, his defense is really bad for a catcher... Donnelly seemed like the better pick for a team with nothing at C at any level.
I gotta take BPA. He may get Biggio'd off of catcher looking at his infield arm (3b is certainly not out of the question). His potential bat is one of those that you make room for him when he's ready.
Kansas City wishes to welcome its latest attempt to develop a catcher in Patrick Cuneo.
His bat is just too good to pass up. Like I said he could become a Brett Lawrie type guy that I stick at a bunch of positions and hope he "catches on" enough to be competant defensively.
Third Base might be the early favorite as first "shot". I wouldnt rule out second base if no one steps up and makes the position theirs. At worst he's Big Papi.
Baltimore selects: SS Christopher "The Steamboat" Butcher
(I'm faux-running them)
Washington selects
RP Paul Dilbeck
Giants Select and will take a gamble on
SS Juan Acevedo
Yeah it was tough, I thought about going for relief pitching or one of the other so-so hitters. His position learned wasn't great, but Dykstra and Votto are aging. Which makes 1B open, I'll just have him learn that position. Should be relatively easy, and if he fills out that ceiling definitely has the ability to play 1B. I took the high risk/high reward this time around in the draft. I normally play conservative but tbh the rest of the talents in the draft just don't "WOW" me.
White Sox take
MR Jose Arriola
Oakland selects SP Bryant Greene
23, but not too far off at 4,9,5,10 out of 6,9,8,10. I like him better than Gillespie. It's tough to pass on the 1B and 2B that are left considering how high they are on the board, but I don't have a pressing need for those positions right now. I've got some aging pitching I need to replace and it's always hard to acquire pitching.
