Galloway & Inoa were no-brainers, and I figured Price would win Cy. I'm actually really surprised Hanley got the MVP. Is that like, the 3rd time TB has swept the two major awards? I think they did it with Mourneau & Peavy once, anyway.

Another GG for Parmelee. Fukudome's ancient ass retires with a GG, his first I believe.

it will be Parmelee's last GG at 1B. Pennington with back-to-back GG's at SS. That will be his last there, too as he's moving to 2B.

no, moving to SS for now. Pennington lost range at SS this season.

    Pennington 2B 9/.987; SS 8/.981 8 arm
    Weeks SS 7/.992; 2B 9/.989 10 arm

I like the combo of Weeks at SS 7/.992 10 arm and Pennington at 2B 9/.987 8 arm better than the other way around. they're identical at 2B really. Weeks has a little less range at SS, but a better % and a better arm.

I know, moving 3 GG's around lol. GG SS to 2B, GG 2B to SS, GG 1B to RF. DH Fielder to 1B where he won a GG in 2014. Pujols can't play the field anymore and has to go to DH. Fielder can't play anywhere except 1B. Parmelee and that 7 OF arm better find an OF glove.

Maybin would have had the MVP if not for the drop in BA

Only 1 award to go with the WS championship... but I will take that any day

Pujols would have had his 8th MVP overall (4th in AL) if he hit more than 15 homers. He was 1st in AVG, 1st in OBP, 1st in OPS, 6th in SLG, 3rd in hits, 4th in doubles, tied for 10th in RBIs, tied for 8th in runs, tied for 8th in walks, and 10th in total bases.

    Re: 2017 Award Ceremony

Maybin 1st in slg, 3rd in ops, 8th in 3B, tied for 1st in HR, 5th in RBI, 6th in runs, 7th in SB, 1st in ebh, and 2nd in tb... and being our first 40/50 player in the league

So if Maybin would have hit his average to his talent, or if Pujols would have hit HR to his talent, it may have led us to a different MVP... but alas, Ramirez gets it

Just as in TBSL...MVP, Cy Young, best league regular-season record, 3 GGs, and no WS.

VERY pleased with Sosa's ROY!!! Vilas w/GG?? WOW! I'll take it, but would trade it for some development by Henriques and Abrego.

I think a .272 average for a guy with 8 contact, 7 eye, and 5 avoid k's is pretty realistic/acceptable. I wouldn't expect a guy like that to hit more than .280 tops. Anything above that would be spectacular.

15 homers for a 10,10,10,10,10 overall guy is quite remarkable. 11 homers vs. RHP at 10,10,10,10,10. 4 homers vs. LHP at 10,10,9,7,10.

    Re: 2017 Award Ceremony

Max Stassi shouldnt have been the ROY...Catcher

    283-23-84-16 .850 compared to

    Eduardo Jose Sosa (NYN)!
He batted .297 in 589 AB, with 11 homers and 71 RBI

usually OOTP favors RBI..i guess it liked BA in this case. Weird.

    Re: 2017 Award Ceremony

Granderson has won MVP with low homerun totals before. Just depends on the competition I guess. Ramirez had a good year, so did Pujols. Triunfel and Maybin would have been good picks too.
