****ing hell, Gallardo is headed for Free Agency next year?
Somebody better re-sign him pronto.
I'll resign him to the White Sox
I/we/someone won't let that happen. I'll run the brewers if no one takes them. Someone has got to end DMB's reign of madness.
Of course, my other idea as opposed to the PM I just sent, put Gallardo and Stasburgh on my team and I'll end DMB... fast. I'll take Hosmer, Schueller, and Schillinger too for depth
Good news guys.
BAL should be filled before the season starts, if not one of the other two.
Witlon sent me a PM inquiring about open teams, and said he preffered an AL... so I am assuming he will take BAL-- which is good to see, assuming he does indeed take the spot. That division will be interesting again, and hopefully be a 3-4 team race (depending on which direction TOR goes).
I'll take the Cardinals, if they're still available.
just replied to your PM actually, before seeing this.
Cards are yours. They've got a real good farm and a good amount of $, though this FA crop left a lot to be desired. High pick in the draft next yr too I believe...
Thanks for joining and good luck.
If Witlon takes BAL still, that will leave us with only MIL open... and zito, you can bribe browntown to take them back and all will be well! :D
I'll take Milwaukee.
Nick did you ever talk to mission about our deal?
Nick, check your PM's, if you haven't already. Get back to me when you can...
moneyman, if you're still around, shoot me a PM and we can hook up and chat about Milwaukee.
I also heard from theo! :)
if you're reading by some chance theo, hope you don't mind me posting. Just figured some people would be glad to know he's alive and well. :)Quote:
Hey Nick,
sorry about the long delay in response, I've just been really busy trying to get things in order for my upcoming post-secondary education and have been out partying for a good while now. of course, you've probably guessed by now, that i'm not going to be able to return to the league or any league for awhile. Things are about to get real hectic, real fast. I hope the league runs smoothly for ya, this really was one of the best stable, professional leagues i've been in and it was an honor.
who knows, maybe one day when i have some free time and if you guys are still up, i'll come back and i'll take DOMINANCE all over again but until then...
it's been great, see you in the fall-- and go yankees!
(in reality, i love the jays but there's no way that's happening this year and i think the sox have won it too much already.)
I may have a new GM for Milwaukee or Baltimore.
He's new to OOTP (I'm just now telling him what it even is) but he's interested.
Hey Leo, if you think he can pick it up and learn on the fly in here, tell him he's welcome to give it a shot. Even if he doesn't stick or doesn't like it, it's better than nothing for now. Since there's only two open teams it's not as big of a concern to fill them as it used to be (also assuming KOZ and I can talk browntown out of retirement next yr.. the jew).
browntown seems to have left altogether...not just sim leagues.
how about I make a 2nd account like so many others around here and run a team with said account? then maybe I could trade myself that new 3B I apparently desperately need.
