You probably could compete in that division this season if you stopped the firesale, and worked with some of what you have . You have a lot of good pitchers under 30... and your team finished pretty strong all things considered.

That being said, I kind of like Bergmann...

Nick, I might be able to win a division title but beyond that there isn't much hope to compete with the big boys, with my lack of income, its time to build within, try to build the market and hope that i can get prospects to develop, build a market and make this a long-term winner. Also a +7 pyth indicates how lucky I was... PM me with an offer for bergmann.

I don't know if we could make it work for council, but I'd trade you Beckett and some prospects for Kazmir if I can work out financial difficulties... after the draft anyway.

Their contracts run the same length, are similar in value, and there's a better chance Beckett retires after this year than Kazmir. I just dunno if I have anything you're looking for, and Kazmir is the much more valuable property in terms of trade value, despite the fact that he makes a little less.

I just don't know if you'll trade Kazmir otherwise. Not that being stuck with Beckett is any better, but hey. Maybe I could give you some guys I draft later on/prospects or something... it'd have to be after the draft because my system is bare.
