    Most bizzare Pyth-y season yet?

The unlucky (although some still lucky)

Cleveland at -9 (would have easily won their division with 95 wins, instead, no playoffs)

Oakland at -5 (would have been the only 100 win team and unquestioned #1)

Cincinnati at -7 (would have had 91 wins but still out of the playoffs)

San Diego at -5 (would have been 94 wins and a playoff with Arizona)

The NL Central (would have been an even tighter race if you could believe that)

In addition, Texas was -8 and Toronto -6, despite being irrelevant.

    The lucky

Philadelphia +5 (would have been under .500 and caused an increase in fire sale threads)

Seattle +7 (would have been under .500 again, had an even higher number earlier in the season)

Kansas City +6 (would have been .500, no division crown, no playoffs)

Boston +6 (would have had under 70 wins again and even more threads promising to move veterans in which he does not)

I shouldn't be in the lucky category, I was trying to lose...

Sometimes its better to be lucky than good. Pythag is a bad thing to go on because my offense is vastly improved with all the changes I made midseason (McCann, Mattair, etc) than it was at the beginning when I was getting nearly shut down by everyone and my pitching was "just good enough" when on to win me a lot of games like 3-2 and most of the losses were like 4 or 5 to 0 or worst.

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

This season doesn't make up for the BAD luck Seattle has had. So Ill take it.

I'd rather be good than playoff cannon fodder.

Screw that, Id rather be in the postseason than be good and NOT in.
