unless i added wrong... distinctly possible, im sober right now... stephen drew comes out to 77 points, and had 418 plate appearances. should be a class b me thinks... based on this one "1.) Add "Talent" and "Overall" ratings including contact, gap, power, eye/discipline, and avoid k's. The total for Class A is 80, class B is 75."

oh shit...Snelling is class B based on that equation:

    current: 8+7+7+9+6 = 37
    talent: 8+7+8+1-+6 = 39
    37 + 39 = 76

    Re: FA Comp List

Snelling isn't Prov, because he didn't have the plate appearances to qualify regardless... a lot of other players make it based on ratings too, but without the qualifying PA they aren't comp.

Hammer, you're right.. drew is type-A. My bad, I probably miscounted because I added his numbers and didn't list him. My math has never been good.

Fowler, let me look Saber. He might be. I originally checked and he wasn't, but I'll double chec.

Dexter Fowler doesn't have the PAs, Saber. That's why... otherwise I think he'd be type-B.

    Re: FA Comp List

The FAQ is pretty much worthless anyway. It's jumbled and confusing and only there for complete noobs...

But I'm pretty positive I've never allowed players under the required PA to net comp... whether I wrote it wrong or not...

If someone remembers otherwise... I just don't recall it.

    Re: FA Comp List

He was good for a few yrs.... but kinda like with the real A's, he had his run and it's probably the glue factory for him now, unless he excells on the bench somewhere. Think... Bobby Kielty. Mark Kotsay, or Eric Byrnes for awhile even. Wow, Ben Grieve works too!

It's fun to look back and try to remember all of the ex A's.

    Re: FA Comp List

there's no room for him with an OF of Pujols, Mitchell, Gomez, Abrego, and Brown. I got Mauro down there who would be next in line followed by a couple other cheaper options than resigning Snelling. Brown is my defensive specialist; no errors last year at all of his positions! He's been a solid bat off the bench, too with a career OPS of .798 (.960 in 2015 and .845 in 2016).
