if Gomez didn't get hurt during the off-season (out until July), then I wouldn't even have gone after him. I didn't make the offer until the previous round either when I saw that no one else seemed to have an acceptable offer on him. obviously, Young > Gomez, but still. when Gomez comes back it will give me some insurance in case the prone Pujols or Young get hurt.

Time to see if Matsuzaka or Garland could be to my rotation what Jackson was to my pen last year. Matsuzaka should start the year as my #3, Garland will probably start in the pen or as #5 and Ross in the pen. Hopefully I can piece together a decent pen around Hackler with my collection of failed starters.
