Josh Johnson is the latest attempt at actually trying to grow the pitching staff a bit. Which means of course he'll come in and either blow his elbow out and die or pitch like everyone else for the time he's here (badly).

I didn't think it was a bad signing. If he's healthy he'll probably throw 200+ innings atleast. And your pitching isn't as bad as you make it sound.

I thought Wade Davis woudl too. We all saw how that ended up. He's out another 8-9 weeks so may not be ready for Opening day but soon after.

Wade Davis did do what I said about Johnson, though... he did throw 200+ innings, and for a #4 or #5, he was fine... if you expected him to be the savior or something then that is where your problem lies.

Davis to me is still the most interesting pitcher in this league. If he ever boosts movement, he has potential to be top-10 in the entire league... with his GBP, the home runs would come down instantly I'd assume and that is the only thing holding him back. Maybe he'll do ok for Zodious..
