    Re: ALCS: Oakland vs. Baltimore

gone where? to AAA? cut him so some cheapskate mother ****er who wouldn't make an offer/decent offer for him when he was on the trade block can get him for free? no. I don't think so.

Mitchell was the most disappointing for me throughout the playoffs with Weeks and Zimmerman as well. At least Mitchell and Weeks had great seasons. Zimmerman sucked all around and has sucked since his career season in 2012. He's had the RBIs and runs, but all of his other numbers have been terrible. oh well, I don't have many other options. At least Fogarty almost hit .400. And the rest of the offense did well overall.

Fogarty is awesome... the next level shit is lame though, because it usually only lasts for so long.

and the pleasure you can get by cutting him and seeing him sign elsewhere for 10 mil per, and possibly suck there too, could be immeasurable. :P

I just thought it was funny when ARI cut Owings, he signed for like 7 mil/5, and has been awful (or close to it) since.

    Re: ALCS: Oakland vs. Baltimore

McCarthy doesn't have the track record to get signed for that much. He had the most promise when I first signed him back in 2011 for only $7.25 mil per year. I'm sure he'd get less than that now. plus I'd have to pay him if I cut him anyway so I'll just continue to take my lumps with him. I like self-inflicted punishment!

Again, congrats Theo and good luck in the WS. I am rooting for DMB though...sorry. Not that you care. I'm just saying is all...he was in my league for a long time without winning one so I'd like to see him finally win one. That's all.

    Re: ALCS: Oakland vs. Baltimore

First off, I want to say that it'll be an honor representing the AL and congrats to Prov and the A's for a good season. I'm pretty sure they'll be here next year so no worries.

Also, I want to congratulate my pitching staff for doing a absolutely masterful pitching performance by all of them. Just because C.C. lost that game, doesn't mean he sucks, he IS the reason we got to the playoffs in the first.

On the offensive side, what can I say? The General has come to lead. He's probably the best created player I've seen in the league and really the whole team has been playing fantastic ball for what really is their first postseason experience.

I want to send out my congratulation to the Chicago Cubs and DMB, they've done a fantastic job and I look forward to an epic meeting in the world series. I don't think we've never faced before, maybe I'm wrong I'm pretty sure Nick would know but to my knowledge we have never faced each other, so this will be new and exciting.

In conclusion, I love my team and go Orioles!

thanks. congrats and good luck as I said earlier. my team probably only has one more shot at a title realistically before we have to rebuild. many of my guys are reaching the point where they'll start to fall apart. it's already started really. this includes:

    DH Pujols
    RF/LF Snelling
    SP Hirsh
    SP Madson
    SP Asahina
    MR Casilla

then there is a 2nd tier of guys who are 31, 32 that are getting there soon as well. I've got some young guys, but no real impact guys. hell, it can be argued that Pujols is my only real impact guy now. I have a ton of average to above average guys that combined make a solid team that can get to the playoffs, but can't seal the deal.

when I won in the first version of this league I had a solid team, but I had studs. Chavez, Dunn, and Holliday all had at least 35 homers, 90 RBIs and 90 runs. I had Harden and Haren as studs...and a lock down closer. my current team doesn't compare really.
