I don't ever remember seeing one. It always seemed to follow the MLB rules as far as I can remember. As I said, assuming you can't do anything about it, as long as people know that's all you can really do.

The only thing I've done with the file... in terms of editting, within the last 3 months (real time).... is changed all of the names of the minor league affiliates to its real life counterpart, since a ton had to be updated. But I really, really doubt changing text could've done it... I'm kind of clueless here. I dunno, has a wildcard ever had a better record? I could always ask the ootp boards too if people still answer Q's over there.

I might be able to prevent it in the future even if it is a glitch... I'd have to figure out a way how, but maybe there's a workaround (assuming I find out that something is going wrong).

For next year I will try to get it right, but for now... nothing else I can do. I don't even know why it's happening. I'm opening ootp6 now though and looking

I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. perhaps it's something to look into for the future. and as I said, I wasn't saying to do somethig about...just to be clear. just discussing it really.

All I see is "homefield advantage", an option that has to do with whether or not there's homefield advantage in the playoffs or not. You can only click it on or off. If you guys would like, I could disable it for the rest of this playoff... but really, I don't know how relevant it is. Might just be worth it (and probably is) to grind it out how it is.... but I definitely don't see any in-game options.

Edit: nah prov, I know... it's just odd to me. Dunno why it'd start now. Just weird.

Re: ALCS/NLCS: Post Your Starters Here

I just looked myself. there is no option...only for the ASG to determine the WS home field.

the "home field" option that you're referring to isn't in regards to the playoffs. it refers to the fact that usually home field gives a team a slight advantage. I always had that on. I wouldn't touch that.

edit: who knows, it may be the way the game is. I only noticed it last season when it made me the home team vs. Detroit when I should have been the away team because I was the Wild Card. Now it has happened in both League Championship Series this season. That's not to say it hasn't happened anywhere before. It just happens to be that I noticed it because it happened to me, you know?

Re: ALCS/NLCS: Post Your Starters Here

Yeah, that's more and more what I'm thinking, because I see people running into this problem on the OOTP board... it's in the game apparently and how the game was setup.

HOWEVER, I believe there is way for me to fix it so OAK gets homefield advantage, as does ATL, without changing anything else. I am more than willing to do that (or atleast attempt to) if you guys want. It wouldn't delay anything and I'm 90% sure that I could fix it... however, I don't know if any of you guys set up your rotos based on the field advantage at this point, and if you'd want to bother re-doing them and all of that.

Let me know... I can fix it, I'm 95% positive. Until Theo checks in it doesn't matter anyway...

I'm fine with it as is to be honest. If the other 3 guys want to fix it though, then let me know and I'll make some adjustments.

DMB is cool with leaving it too... and I doubt LJ would mind the HFA... so let's just leave it until next year. but if it happens again next season, I know for fact I can fix it if people would like me to.

I don't mind much. I mean, I didn't set my lineups/starters based on HFA, so either way I'm fine. Maybe next year we can try to prevent the glitch.

    Hmm... No Yankees? Oh well...

    BAL Starters:
    Game 1: Brandon Erbe
    Game 2: Jake Arrieta
    Game 3: Eric Bedard
    Game 4: CC Sabathia
    Game 5: Brandon Erbe
    Game 6: Jake Arrieta
    Game 7: Eric Bedard

And one small lineup change... Have Rowell and Mahoney switch lineup spots. (Rowell 5th, Mahoney 6th) Thanks.
