9-10-10 .. albeit being pretty far off...

That's pretty hilarious Shame on GF as well.... though I have no idea how he developed that much. He must have boosted after Slyder signed him or something too, besides this recent one with NYN.

I only release guys who really, really suck. Therefore there are 2 explainations for this. 1) I didn't have the team yet (I don't exactly remember when I took over the team) or 2) he REALLY boosted after I cut him. I mean REALLY REALLY boosted. Because I only cut guys who have absolutely no chance of ever being good.

Nope. I took them over in the offseason. You took Colorado, LJ took ATL, and whoever LJ had..was..whatever.

At any rate, I wouldn't feel bad about it GF. You weren't the guy who cut a 28 year old Carlos Pena, =)

He boosted to like 9 8 8 like August of last season I think. I spun him for a good young pitcher I cant be to upset that he boosted again. Thats why I sign a few guys like that (especially the really young guys) I think England might have been 18 when I signed him.

*Edit sometimes you can find some real surprises.

He couldn't have been that bad, even with 2 boosts. There's really no reason why anyone should cut a 6-7-7 type teenager. It just seems like he was one of those players with the funky player histories. He had no minor stats during his brief stint with Colorado.
