Interesting you both feel I reached with Ruiz at 4? And for the record Eduardo's uncle Sammy is not employeed and not allowed to be anywhere near Royals HQ in the minut case that Eduardo should just happen to receive an unprecedented power boost .

I thought 4 was the safest place to put him, but honestly, any of the top 5 could have been picked ANYWHERE. Hell, any of the top-10 could have gone anywhere honestly.... it was that kind of draft, and I think it made it kind of fun because of that.

Different than most of the drafts where it's just a crapshoot in the sense that it'll be interesting to see who takes the 10-10-6-7-10 talent, opposed to the 9-10-10-8-9 talent at the top of the board. I think this has been a really fun draft... last years was good, but this one is really making people think.... and it's not like the league is lacking talent, so it won't hurt us in any way even if it were to turn out to be a 50/50 boom to bust ratio in the end with the high profile picks. Plus, take into effect that some guys may boost, and I'd like to keep the draft right around this talent level for the next few years maybe.
