Last time i checked, i got all my vets on the block... lol, so I'll take the under on the blowup
Ouch, no love for my team at all...
Off the norm season predictions
Edwin Encarnacion with the strange season of the strange mix of production and non-production... BA under .240, 30+HR, 100+ RBI, 160+ K, 20+ SB, OB% under .320.. the man continues to show that contact ratings mean squat to him
With additional spending for a trade or callups... Yankees pay over 2MIL per win
Fabian Herreros puts up Encarnacion type numbers, minus the SB's... bust of the FA class
One of the last day, last minute, cheap FA signings will be in the top 10 in BA.. while none of the big money FA signings will
New division winners in both west divisions
The youngest team in the league is within 5 wins of the oldest team
We have more than 3 teams lose money this season
Fabian Herreros is going to be in AAA this year.
I will not let my 5th starter produce a 7+ Era with 9 losses, twice, in a season again. Though Maybe this year my team wont injure and underachieve its way outta contention again.
I like this. Here are some of mine:
-Oakland and New York DON'T play in the Division Series for the first time since I've been in this league.
-Milwaulkee drafts in the bottom 12 next season.
-Saber says something witty at one point--we all rejoice.
-There will be a trade where a lot of people complain.
-A 39 year old Alex Rodriguez has one of his better seasons since the start of our league time.
-Slyder updates his trade block 25 times peddling the same garbage as always.
-Milwaulkee and New York will make a nondescript trade
-I will now go eat lunch
like predicting the sun will rise and set...
I predict:
-a Dodgers / Yankees WS
-Baltimore misses the playoffs again
-I finish above .500, but miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008
-San Diego actually tries this season
-Florida makes the playoffs
-Detroit has a major injury to one of their stars
NL EAST Prediction:
1. Atlanta - got better in off-season, class of the NL East last year.
2. Florida - didn't do much in off-season, but under-performed last year.
3. New York - offense lacks power, SPs are on decline or unproven, best bullpen in NL East.
4. Philadelphia - young staff should emerge and steadily get better, might pass NYM
5. Washington - again a young team that should get better with age. NYM maybe the cellar dweller by seasons end.
So, with a full season of Rich Harden, new additions Jon Lester and Aramis Ramirez, the young guys(Heyward/Freeman/Casto/Clinton) having another year under their belt, and the chance that prospects like Donald Crow and Raffy Rodriguez could reach MLB quality by the end of the year means I'm going to get worse, having lost only Brian Bannister and Kevin Gregg(acquired at the deadline last year), Mike Gonzalez(like 10 MLB IP last year), Ervin Santana, and JoJo Reyes? Interesting. I figured I'd be the team to beat?
Thats more like it. Thanks for the props OM, here's to a fun year in the NL East.....I will never get over how dirty it makes me feel to be rooting for the Atlanta Braves....
i get justin upton back, thats 15 more wins alone. me and the dodgers will not be more than 3 games apart by seasons end.
theres my predictions.
Any predictions on where Clayton Tanner will be playing in '16?... if he wants 25 million per, sure as hell not SF.
Whoever offers you the dumbest deal.
