Orioles the 2014 baltimore "redemption" orioles

Let's just get one thing clear. I don't like chokers, shakers or bakers.

Not that that's out of the way. Last year, we didn't accomplish our goal. We had the Wild Card in our pocket most of the season until The Boston Tea Party once again made it's rounds and caused us to watch from outside and drink our yellow tea.

I'm not sure how this year's going to turn out. I honestly thought that the playoffs were in the bag so I'm not going to jinx anything this year. I got a lot of new blood that don't have spots in the lineup.

    demotions:
    DH Kieron Pope to AAA
    CF Ruddy Yan to AAA
    CF Dante Canabal to AAA
    1B Allen Crow to AAA

    (bolded players means promotions...)

    Lineup: (for both)
    1. CF Nick Markakis 9-8-8-7-7
    2. 2B Brian Roberts 9-10-7-8-6
    3. RF Nolan Reimold 8-7-10-3-5
    4. C Matt Wieters 10-8-10-7-8
    5. DH Derrek Lee 8-9-9-8-4
    6. 3B Garrett Atkins 8-8-8-7-8
    7. SS Brandon Snyder 8-8-6-5-8
    8. LF Val Majewski 8-7-7-6-6
    9. 1B Joseph Mahoney 8-6-9-5-7

    Bench:
    C Jeff Fiorentino 8-6-9-8-5
    3B Billy Rowell 5-7-7-5-5
    3B Tripper Johnson 8-7-6-4-6
    2B Nick Noonan 8-7-6-5-6
    RF Harlan Jones 9-6-6-6-6

Same lineup as last year with the exception of Derrek Lee. I expect big things out of him. His job is the same as what Cust did last year, to hit the ball. Noonan and Jones are sooo ready.

    Starting Rotation:
    1. Eric Bedard 10-8-9, 16-7 with 3.49 era
    2. CC Sabathia 10-9-10, 16-12 with 3.30 era
    3. Brandon Erbe 10-7-10, 18-7 with 3.34 era
    4. Jake Arrieta 10-8-10, 12-13 with 3.84 era
    5. Pedro Beato 10-6-7, 11 ga, 2-0 with 4.50 era

Out of all the pitchers I have, I'd say Arrieta has improved the most from last year. Hopefully he can get in the win column more this year. I think second to the Yankees I have the next best rotation in the division with The Rays coming in very close behind.

    Mopup:
    1. Brian Matusz

    Middle Relievers:
    1. Jim Johnson
    2. Brandon League
    3. Don Levinski

    Setup:
    1. Brant Rustich

    Closer:
    1. Jason Burch

Now Burch is going to be looked at closely. He blew some games that we really could of needed last year. I'll give him another chance considering he wasn't a closer prior to that, so this is his chance to redeem himself... so go do it. REDEEM!

So as always in conclusion: Go Team!

Clearly, you need one of my many spare arms so you don't run the risk of Don Levinski pitching in a meaningful spot!
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!
