No no, I'm just rolling my eyes at him. No doubt, he pulls a mntwinsfan, throws a hail mary just to stick around while his team continues to rot. He'll go MIA again after the trade deadline, I'm sure. He's the only reason why Tampa shouldn't be in the mix for that division like the other 4 teams.

haha, yep...exactly and he tried to pull that with me. and that's exactly what I told him; that he always makes those promises, but then does the same shit. Amazing that TB won 100 when he was active and then fell to .500 last year...now below .500.

I talked to General on AIM last night randomly...... he actually IMed me to talk about the league, believe it or not. You guys may have something, I don't know... but we bullshitted about stuff for a good hour and talked trade too. He could be just trying to get into good graces, or not. But hey... if I can get everyone doing a little more than they were doing (not that everyone has to- you know what I'm saying), then the league is already a little bit better. I dunno.

I do wish he was more active ALL OF THE TIME though, and not when it's convienent. If I had to list every GM that I wish was more active, there would probably be about 3-4 right now on the list. But even then, those who could be more active have been pretty good. But activity is really good right now, I have to say. If the "rewards/activity" thing works like I'm hoping it will.... then maybe some of the dudes will learn to explore their minor leagues and whatnot more.

Possibilities are endless in these leagues... I'd like to think with so many different players and a nice balance of talent and whatnot, you can do a lot with your team in a quick time period if you put aside enough time for it. Or if you're a good GM. :X

It's also hard for me to replace people, because I know at one time General (and even mntwinsfan, in a way) were good GMs for me in this league... once I boot someone, I feel like unless they're super forgiving then they are not going to want to join again. I am a very open person (for the most part) and like to exersize all options before going a certain route...

I'm hoping General can stay active, and it's not a case like with Dry where I just gave up on waiting for him to send me a change. Well, no, dry's a completely different story-- that guy never has done anything... in any league. lol

That being said, I know how General can be... I mean, I bad mouthed him in this thread even... and I won't deny that... but I don't want to burn bridges really. It's hard to find new GMs too, and when you have one who is compotent when they try, if I can just maximize their effort I'd rather do that...
