Okay, explanation: Willis is a FA to be and recently turned down 17 mill from OM. I am taking a gamble by dealing Guzman and possibly either vastly overpaying Willis or losing Willis. If I lose him, there's compensation, and ultimately I only wanted a solid prospect for Guzman and compensation would produce that. Lee and Jones are expiring contracts and he was all about wanting power bats.

Guzman is alright...the other 2 guys are there for salary? or he really plans on using them? He's contending so I don't get why he doesn't keep Willis, go for a championship, and then take the compensation...

But, if he's OK with it, then pass I suppose. I don't really understand it, but OK.

Yeah, I'd do what Prov said, but personally, if he doesn't want the comp (and I can safely say the draft class, will look exactly like last year's in terms of talent, maybe a slight bump for the later rounds), then I'll pass it.

I'm completely fine with the deal... honestly, it's his prefference to deal Willis, and he isn't going to find much better at this point, so it's cool. I just think Willis would help him for a championship run more so, but Harang isn't a bad fall-back and I feel he's much more fit for the rotation than bullpen.

I don't know if he'll use Lee or Jones, I think he might use Jones since he was wanting power in his outfield. Lee still has pretty good ratings, maybe he platoons with Helton. I just threw them in incase Willis was wanting Cain like money.
