I'll take a flier on Joe Smith.. no idea what you'd want in return, but maybe Pat Burrell could start negotiations if I ate his contract? (only thing is I know he was just on your team before mine, so I'm not sure if you even want to visit.. or revisit that idea)

He is a power bat though, and he should by all means mash lefties.... I don't really know what his problem is, except that I barely play him (only 80 abs this year) so maybe he just never gets in rhthym. Dunno if you'd wanna take a chance on him.

A 28 year old Joe Smith is worth more than a 35 year old Pat Burrel, IMHO... maybe if Pat was 31ish... I need power against RHP instead of LHP, but thanks though.
