I'm back, and I like it. The reality of the game is that I can spend more money than most of the other teams. Anyone could've picked the Yankees in the beginning. Even if we didn't have a blind auction-type bid system I'd still have offered him a ridiculous sum. Technically I could lose MORE money this way.

Yeah, spend spend spend, it's only gotten you one championship so it's not a big deal. Fortunately, you've taken prolly more talent hits than anyone in the league.

Hits or boosts? Its been kind of equal to be honest, Tabata and Vechionacci came out of nowhere.

For all of this "prolific" spending I've done, my payroll is down from over 200 million in the first few years. The only huge contract was Dunn and he has been awesome.

Ill probably lose at this. So ill just have to redo my FA offers.

The Mets are officially NOT in contention for this guy. Now if we have another sweepstakes next season after Helton and company ride off into the sunset... The Yanks have an unbeatable edge anyway.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are officially not spending a lot this year.
