    Makes too much money.

Winkleman, Fronenberger, and Echevarria are all gone pending the apps.

Hey, Krivsky, are you still interested in Brad Lidge?

I think we went down this road before. And it resulted in Lidge costing me too much. So, Pat Gillick, prolly not. Ready to deal Fetticini Del Guidice yet?

Re: Looking for a good reliever.

It makes no sense for me to trade an already developed 25-year old pitcher for assuredly someone(s) years away from the big leagues, but you can try.

But does it make sense for me to unload for a reliever on the wrong side of 30, posting a 6 plus ERA?

Well, yes, you did inquire about that relief pitcher, and he's not 8-7-7 junk.

32 years old is not old at all, and I'm not shitting you here. You've seen 37 year old relievers go for 10 mil a year (or close to that, but the price is not the point) in the free agent market in S3SL. And players on very bad teams tend to have junk stats. Even del Guidice is having a mediocre season thus far.

S3SL. In s3sl, a 8-7-7 pitcher would be great. Look, with what I'm mostly looking to trade- unless you have interest in something I'm not thinking of- I need better. I ponied up for Carlos Marmol. That's the type I am after.

Re: Looking for a good reliever.

Trust me, I hate to compare leagues like Generalito often does, but it seems to me that you're making a cut-off on the age of relief pitchers a la twinsfan with his ridiculous "no player over 28" demand. But whatever, Marmol's your man.

No, but if I'm dealing for Lidge I'm not dealing Morales or Detwiler or whatever like that.

Re: Looking for a good reliever.

Catcher and relievers acquired. I'm just at the point where I'd like to try and shed a little pay roll. Most of these guys are expiring contracts or arbitration eligible dudes. Either prospects or guys who don't get paid much at all will do.

    OF Jose Guillen, 8-9-9-5-5
    OF Johnny Damon, 8-8-3-6-7
MR Peter Moylan, 9-7-8 or Briant Fuentes, 10-7-9
    2B Joaquin Arias, 8-9-5-3-7 ..only 24
    MR/SP Shawn Chacon, 7-5-9
    MR Derrick Turnbow, 8-7-7
    SS/2B Clint Barmes, 8-5-5-3-8
    MR Neal Cotts, 9-7-7 ..lefty

Also there's OF Carlos Beltran, but he makes a ton and is out for 3 more weeks. Not sure if anyone would want him. And SP Carlos Zambrano, but it would take a pretty good offer involving prospects or a young outfielder. I'll consider moving Matt Holliday, only if it's something that really impresses me.

Garret Atkins, 3B/1B, reigning allstar, also available. I'd move him for a ready SS or .. I dunno, just make some offers.

Again, I don't need a catcher or anymore relievers (unless they're MR prospects)
