Twins started out slow.. Kind of a surprise for me. I thought my hitting would have led the team but it's off the the worst start in 3 years. Only major surprise was Jason Bartlett's 3 homers and 8 rbis!

Changes will be made to correct the issues.

aha, no idea personally... that's kind of a coincidence that someone from here, goes to there though. How in the world did he find members from this site? Christ, they must pump their site out everywhere...

My guess is they forgot to pay for their webspace or something. The guy who runs the site, while being a nice guy, can be completely biased and kinda douchey on the other site he and I post at sometimes. I refuse to talk football with him... I can't handle someone telling me Fred Smoot is a top-10 NFL corner back.

Somehow Jesse Hoover, who I didn't put in the starting rotation, ended up in the starting rotation and pitched a no hitter against Oakland.

Well minnesota traded a 30 year old 10-10-10 pitcher with a sweetheart deal for the next 5 seasons, for a bag of baseballs and a pack of big league chew.

Once I get Nomar back, this lineup is going to be much improved... Beltre has been a big boost, and was basically free.

This pitching staff is underachieving(Sans Lincecum, and Matt Morris pitching like a Cy Young award winner...). Noah Lowry is one more lousy sim away from losing his rotation spot to Jonathan Sanchez. At least Zito strung together 3 quality outings after sucking for the first sim.

Molina and Shawn Green are crying about playing time... well earn it. Varitek is hitting .333 and Shawn Green- you were signed to be a bench player. NO ONE ELSE WANTED YOU.

oh well, I got no-hit. I'm in 1st place by 3 games right now and my starters are doing better than last year so if Pelfrey and a few key bullpen guys can get going, we'll be all set.

Monday 5/1/2009: Oakland's Duke earns Pitcher of the Month award
Winner of this months American League Pitcher of the Month award is Oakland's Zach Duke. He had an ERA of just 2.23 in 44.1 innings of work in which he struck out 27 hitters. His record in April is 4-0.

Lester is 5 - 0 already as well with Harang and Hirsh being solid so far.
