Okay after avoiding the issue the past two years I think I am at a position to at least compete (maybe not for playoffs but at least for out of the cellar).

Key Additions:
SP Kyle Lohse= Signed in hopes that he could provide some stability to the middle of the rotation without costing an arm and a leg.
1b Ben Brossard= Signed to be an RBI guy in the middle of the lineup.
MR Alan Embree and Jorge Julio hopefully provide some relief in one of the worst pens in the league last year.

Yung-Chi Chen R= Good glove 2b. Better bat than Blanco and Falu right now.
One spot is being held for a catcher.

Rotation: If anyone from 2-5 matures and pitches well, this could be a very solid overall unit.

RHP Luke Hochevar= Needs to do some quick developing to get a shot at the majors in the rotation. Buckner is getting his chance because he's further developed.
OF Chris Lubanski= Needs to show better judgment at the plate, the log jam gives me the ability to wait a bit longer on him
RHP Robbie Wooley= Needs to show he can consistantly find the plate.

Goals:
A) Not finish last in the division.
B) Not have a top 10 pick in the draft next year.
C) Be top 20 in pitching ERA and Offense Runs.
D) Continue building.

Stick a fork in KC there done. Liriano and Butler are the only two pieces of top value to trade for. 2009 will be another year to look up for you in the AL Central.

Wheres the fun in bragging when you inherited the core of the team and STILL can't get past the first round? I've been past that in EVERY league. I took KC cause they were a challenge not handed me a playoff team to mooch off of.

Did I say this was the year I was raising a banner in KC? NO.

It isnt old news because we each had the same oppertunity to build our own team and youre STILL trying to win your first title without inheriting a really good team and farm system :P.

so I'm not worried in the least about little Kaz, and not like Garcia is even close to meeting his talent

I'll wait to line up my 3rd SP (Bonderman) with greater talent and ratings than Kaz, up against him next year

just an fyi my dad has been in the hospital alot over the past 3 months! 5 stints and monday afternoon a pacemaker will be placed around his heart. Dad has congestive heart failure and life is a ***** right now. Try having a heart beat that will all of the sudden beat to 263 beats a minute.

Next time before you bash me maybe you should pm me and bash me that way. I am at the hospital now with my family. You never seen my complain on my team. So go and cherish your first al banner, it wont happen again,
