Kansas City Offseason Goals

Kansas City is looking for some supplemental pieces to go along with the strides made last year.

#2 starting pitcher.

A catcher period.

Per my usual mentality anyone could be had in the right package. If you're expecting someone like Butler or Teahan I had better be getting near as young/cheap guys as I am giving up and as talented (No trading quantity for quality for guys like Teahan and Butler).

If you go after guys on the farm the player Im receiving could still be a little bit off.

I would perfer them to be on the low side of 30.

And I'm not worried about replacement players. So many of the guys play multiple positions well enough that I can move pieces around to make it fit.

With the furry of signings of pitchers Ive got a bit of excess of guys that might be useful in the pen for some guys or even at the back of the rotation.

SP Josh Towers only makes 2 mil this year.
MR Jason Hammel got starter endurance would be looking for a similar talent spec.
SP Seung Song anyone a gambler?
SP Jesse Harper ditto.
MR Colt Griffin- Fireballer, young.
SP Jose Diaz- Young, Cheap $.
MR Yorman Bazardo- Young, Cheap $.

Kansas City is still in need of a closer. The rest of the pen seems to be managable.
