Wow, I was way off on Fukudome. I should've offered him 20.

I missed out Eric Gagne but I got the older import version for cheaper.

Good luck with Hunter. I hope he will play better for you. He has a terrible batting average for me. Maybe a team change will work. 13 million is alot though..

Feliz hopefully gives me a bit of a power boost my bench, team, and system was lacking. For 1.5 mil not bad for a guy who might find at bats everywhere.

I like the speed and contact of Hunter. And as long as he can hit in a #4 or 5 spot consistently, I'll be happy.

Anyone got a power hitter up for trade?

I overpaid on him big time... but I really, really needed a middle of the order hitter for right now, until guys like Kemp can step it up. And without many other targets (only 2, actually) I felt like I could affoard to spend big on him.

    also... paul byrd *****es!

Paul Byrd and Randy Wolf are gonna win co-cy young and then take a shit on the award, because that's what animals do

and the Kobayashi hotdog eating champion signing was very good... 4 million is a bargain for him, with his talent.

    Re: Round 1 FA signings

Not signing Fukudome hurt some... I was just slightly off on my offer... same with Gagne... but I am not paying 8MIL for a RP, so I am not upset about that

Tampa Bay has never had a legit closer in the history of the franchise. Baez was never that good. Happy for that, *****es.
