    DET 2009-2010 Trade Block

Well.... 1 game out of the playoffs.... so time to anticipate wheeling and dealing to improve my team

    Spects for trade:
    5.0 SP spect Oliver Southworth
    3.5 SP spect Carlos Villanueva
    3.5 SS spect Troy Tulowitzki
    3.0 SP spect Franklin Morales
    3.0 C spect James Skelton
    5.0 CL/SP spect Benjamin Leanos
3.5 1B spect Eden Tavaerz (already 9 contact against righties)
    4.0 CF spect Lee Kincannon

    ML players for trade:
    3.5 1B/DH David Ortiz
    2.0 LF Craig Monroe
    1.5 2B/SS/3B Ramon Santiago
and POSSIBLY 2.5 SP Justin Verlander

Ones ML ready and stuck at AAA
    2.5 MR Jorge Julio
    2.0 2B Ryan Raburn

What I am looking for.... younger spects at A or AA level... upgrade at 1B/DH... a very good starting 3B (Damn Ramirez for getting an off-season season-ender)... possible upgrade over Verlander as end of the rotation starter (A.K.A. I would like to package Verlander and some other things on my block for a better SP)

NOT for trade in any way, shape, or form...
    Patrick Ruvalcaba
    Daisuke Matsuzaka
    Andrew Miller
    Derrick Moore
    Cameron Maybin
    Shane Lindsay

I would... but him just signing a 5 year extension @ 12MIL per, where in the very first year of the extension he is going to be 34, makes him quite a bit less appealing

Well.... considering I do not have a ready 2nd baseman in the wings... it better be a good offer for him

I'll trade you a SP. Last time I dealt one, he went on to win 19 games and post a sub 3 ERA.

It could happen to you too!
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

Want Niekro or Youkilis to play 3B? Neither would be costly. I do have a very good 3B, but Marte would cost you more than I'm sure you'd consider moving. And my SPs are still available to you if you're interested.
