Decent sim to pull within 1/2 game of the Tigers, and I have some leverage just in case Javier Vazquez thinks he's worth too much thanks to:

Kyle McCulloch seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Kyle McCulloch's pitches have more bite now, the movement has improved!

should be ready by year's end, and if he's close to filled out, he can't do much worse than what Vazquez has done over the last 2+ seasons.

New pitcher Rafael Betancourt was great in his Jays debut, calmed the bullpen, his game 3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K's. Dropped his ERA down to 3.29.

Started Mark Ellis at 2B this sim and did he ever response with his bat.

The American League Player of the Week award goes to Matt Holliday, Oakland's starting leftfielder. Holliday helped his team with an average of .409 and 14 RBI in 22 at bats. He had 5 homers, too.

Fox has 14 RBIs, Lee 14, Aramis 17, Patterson 13, Upton 16, Bay 23, Pie 17... it's not just one guy doing it. My whole team is equally contributing this year.

My pitching's been mediocre, but for the first sim I forgot to turn my rotation back to 5-man. So I had a 4 man working with Sean Marshall being left out, and that may have been why Prior and Pawelek were getting bombed. Atleast that's what I'm hoping.

One of my pitching spects went up for me the last sim, so I might look to unload a pitcher. I'm not sure if I'd deal Pawelek right now though. I love my Marky Marks.

The guy's just an animal come playoff time too.

Don't worry though, I wouldn't ask for Harden if I were to look to deal Pawelek.

another reliever is born... kevin galipeau goes from 4/9/8 to 7/10/8 overnight, hes ready for the majors now. paris and walden are struggling at aaa, concerning, but somehow we're only 2 out. if they can speed themselves up a little bit, im not completely dead yet for this season maybe possibly sorta !
