Rules on trading newly signed guys?

Nick, didn't you have specific rules on trading newly signed free agents. I just want to make sure it is possible for me to deal a guy before I put him on the block. The guy I'm referring to is Joe Nathan. Yes, its only like 30 games, but its looking like the guy just can't hack it in New York.

I'll probably give him a little while to turn it around. Now it is looking like Melancon is taking over for Rivera...

I think you have to keep him until June or something, unless he's a one year deal

I was planning on keeping him until the deadline anyway to see if he can stop giving up a run per game...

    - No contracts signed over the free agency period that are 2 years or longer can be traded before June 1st of the regular season
    - No contracts signed over the free agency period of players making over 10 million per year can be traded until the offseason after one year

Any players who don't fall under those two clauses are free to be traded at any time.
