ryan howard finished the season scorching... player of the week to end the year, and .359/.450/9 HR/24 RBI in the closing month of the season. hopefully that carries over to next season and that 10 power across the board gives me some a little closer to 50 homers rather than 36.
greg golson dipped a little bit at the end of the year, but still made a strong case for NL rookie of the year: .303, 12 HR, 71 RBI, 104 runs scored, 60 extra base hits and 42 stolen bases. if his overall ratings approach his talent ratings, look out.
michael bourn didn't get much playing time until mid-may, but still solidified himself as the bourn supremacy and my leadoff hitter for the next 700 years. 150 hits, 6 hr, 55 rbi, 90 runs scored, 50 stolen bases and a .385 obp.
chase utley was godly of course, got solid production from other young guys like cj henry, cole hamels and kyle drabek... just need to fill a hole or two in FA, have a nice draft, and we'll be ready to roll.

Carlos Lee better get the goddamned MVP...
.306/45/130/.385/.652
And he had 17 steals.
What!
Sadly, I'm facing Mission in the playoffs. This means I will lose 350-1 each game...I am pumped though.

this is the greatest statline I've ever had in my 12 or 13 cumulative seasons in OOTP leagues:
Randall Simon in 64 games at catcher: 8 errors, 16.5% of 103 attempted base swipers thrown out, 43 passed balls
randall simon for ootp hall of fame

Damn... Ortiz loses contact talent AFTER the season ends.... *^%$^%$!#@&%
-
same with Vernon Wells from 8 to 7
strange enough Berkman gained his old contact when I 1st traded for him.
-
And Dice-K upped his talent to 10-9-10 from 8-8-8
