1st round picks are not guaranteed... any picks rather, are not guaranteed... just if they are signed within the allotted period (which i have yet to decide whether i want to make it the first 5 days of free agency, or the first 10... we still have time to decide).Originally Posted by nick

no... we scrapped ptbnl trades that would allow trading 1st round picks during the draft
hmmmm, I thought there was mention of both...maybe I'm confusing it with when you said no compensation for the 1st FA we had...nevermind
there will be official posts on all my nonsensical ideas... i was allowing ptbnl trades until the end of this season anyway, but thankfully nobody did them. nonetheless, i love the entire idea of draft pick compensation, so i cant let that go without even trying it.
Why not base the roundage of the pick on money per year?
