Spring Training Sim 11/24 10:00 PM EST

Deadline to send in spring training modifiers if need be is 9PM EST of that same day.

The first sim is more than likely Monday morning, giving you guys the whole weekend to send in changes, make trades, etc.

All I ask is one thing: to those who haven't sent line-ups yet, please wait until after the spring training training sim unless you will be unable to get them in before Monday mornings regular season sim. I ask this because there's a good chance after spring training you will want to change them again, and that would mean a ton of work for me if I already changed them prior to spring training. It'd also be pretty redundant.

If you have sent me a line-up, it's fine if you update it after spring training. I didn't say anything, so you guys who did send me line-ups already wouldn't have known anyway. Plus I already entered the line-ups sent to me into the game.

But feel free to send spring training modifiers into me, and any other little things that don't fall under roster transactions.

    Thanks guys.

Spring training modifiers... like, the points you give to players and how you want them to develop and whatnot.

Please explain this? How many points do we have to spend? Also will we be able to export?

No exporting... it's just something I haven't felt like setting up. Maybe somewhere down the line, but not now.

Spring training is usually just auto-run with the points balanced out for every player... or you can do the "ask coach" thing, and it'll suggest how to spread out the points (it works with scouts/coaches turned off too, for the record).

I just use ask coach thing for mine... changing it to fit everyone of my player's exact needs on my team is too much work, and generally it doesn't make much of a difference any way.

I'm not on my home computer right now, so I can't really explain the spring training thing... if someone else would, that'd be nice. I'm pretty sure in mission's league he just uses the coach suggestions (he can correct me if I'm wrong).

If we just want to use the ask coach thing, do we need to PM you or is that just what you're going to do by default?

I was going to do that by default. If you do not want to ask coaching staff, you can PM me telling me to leave it as is or adjust it to your liking.

So you don't want Lineups sent in?

Will everyone still develop or get development if we don't?

Yeah, development goes to everyone. It's irrelevant where they are.

The only reason I don't want lineups now is because with development to certain players, I KNOW some of you will want to change your line-ups after spring training.

If you're 100% set on your line-up before spring training, and know you won't change it there after, then feel free to send them in. But if you plan on making changes right after spring training then it's kind of pointless for me to change it twice.
