I trust you on it, but that's up there with the Romero signing in the other league.

A 7 year deal for Mats will prove to be great or disasterous. My prediction? Season ending injury in year three, reducing him to a 6-8 million dollar pitcher on market.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

What I find interesting is Mr. Meche thought about that offer until day #3 before signing. If I was a 1.0 SP, I'd have signed that offer on the day I received it!

Wow my offers dont usually get that embarrassed. Ya I offered Guillen 3x3 in hopes maybe he'd fall through while people were busy with superstars early.

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

Fifteen for five is still less than 12 for 7 in overall cash, and these players love their overall cash

I got both of my offers. Woodward plays every position except catcher...super sub. Chen gives me 2 lefties and he's only signed for 3 years. He'll only be 32 at then end. I'm happy.

BTW, Guardado is a little experiment. He is from Colorado. I want to see if signing him raises my fan interest any... He really isn't that big of a signing. I want to see if this local popularity is really worth a shit.

15.5 for 5...I was not giving more than fvie years, because then he'll die and I'll be a waste. I'm fairly pleased with the years, they have always been the hardest to get right.

But 7 years? He might be good, but eh, I hate seeing 10+ mil locked away for that long.

i got two arms for the pen, which i needed. mediocre arms that i paid more than i would've preffered for, but for whatever reason RP's tend to be a hot commodity in ootp leagues.

latroy hawkins talks in the 3rd person, and BK kim is a sushi chef, so i atleast upgraded my clubhouse

To my credit in my other leagues Pitchers sign for a lot more money than this one.

don't worry about it, it ain't really your fault. you're new to the league, and will learn from mistakes and whatnot. plus, meche has the potential to grow into a 2.0-2.5 pitcher possibly. so it could be decent enough in the long run.

Twins got the ss in Lugo that they wanted. I am now set for the season. I overpaid for him but he was the best there. I have a very good team.

I figured the only way I could land him was to give him the uber-long contract.... He's locked up til he is 34 or so... just about right....

I am actually disappointed though... I NEEDED Pierre and thought Urbina might slip through the cracks
