Might switch it up and put Davis in the rotation in place of Rob Bell, so I can have the J Five rotation.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
My team so far:
C: Kenji Johjima - One of the many voids filled in the Seattle trade.
1B: Paul Konerko - Solid bat, even if I am overpaying for it.
2B: Tadahito Iguchi - Cheap and effective, what's not to like?
SS: Juan Uribe - Youth and a great glove.
3B: Joe Crede - Hey, someone finally rated him well.
LF: Scott Podsednik - I'll take this version. It's certainly better than the real thing at this point.
CF: Brian Anderson - I'd rather not risk trying to develop him at the ML level, but I guess I will if I have to.
RF: Jermaine Dye - You'd think an MVP caliber year would give him a bit of a boost. Oh well.
DH: Jim Thome - Anyone want him? I wish the $22 million that was paid off of his contract in real life by the Phillies was paid off of this deal.
Rotation:
Mark Buehrle - Young effective southpaw.
Felix Hernandez - My #2 starter at the age of 20. This should be fun.
Freddy Garcia - Not bad for a #3 starter, but the age is a bit of a concern.
Javier Vazquez - Probably the best #4 starter in the league with room to grow.
Jon Garland - See: "Javier Vazquez", replacing "#4" with "#5", and adding youth.
Bullpen:
Rafael Soriano - Young effective flamethrower.
Bobby Jenks - See: "Rafael Soriano".
J.J. Putz - Good enough to be a closer on many teams, he's my 3rd best reliever.
Neal Cotts - The token lefty, though he's actually got some skill, and he's pretty young.
Mike MacDougal - Yet another flamethrowing righty.
Jose Contreras - I'm not going to pay him $8 million to rot in AAA, so he becomes my swingman.

My team is going to look pretty weak this season.... but strong in 1 to 2 seasons....
C - IRod - If age does not catch up to him this season, still a solidly rated catcher.
1B - Chris Shelton - If his ratings reach his talent, future MVP candidate. He is the cleanup hitter expected to produce a lot of runs.
2B - Placido Polanco - Solid, bottom of the lineup guy.
3B - Sean Burroughs - Recent aquisition and good contact hitter. Probably underrated and still young with room for improvement.
SS - Carlos Guillen - Wiley veteran with some good talent. Likely the #2 hitter in the lineup.
LF - Craig Monroe - Good power, average contact. Your typical .250 25 HR guy I guess.
CF - Magglio Ordonez - Moving to Center to take advantage of his defensive ratings there. Again, if age does not catch up to him, he will produce. Slotted as the #3 hitter.
RF - Curtis Granderson - Slotted as the leadoff hitter, even with only a 6 in contact. Great eye and steals on top of that 6 contact, so it may work out.
DH - To be filled from FA
Bench: Basically a bunch of nobodies, utility guys, and fillins. Marcus Thames, Tike Redman, Omar Infante, Neifi Perez, Maxim St. Pierre
SP1 - Justin Verlander - Young stud who needs to finish getting his ratings up to his talent. A Tiger for years to come.
SP2 - Mike Maroth - Right now, the lone lefty in the rotation. Expected to be solid, not a star.
SP3 - Jordan Tata - Rookie gets his shot to finish his progression at the ML level.
SP4 - If not filled thru FA, probably Colby Lewis
SP5 - If not filled thru FA, probably Zach Miner
Pen:
Fernando Rodney - Primary setup guy
John Ennis - Young innings eater
Chris Spurling - Slated for mopup duty
Bobby Seay - Slated for lefty mopup duty
Joel Zumaya - Fireballer gets his shot at closing. If inconsistency does not kill him, should be a damn good closer.
Watch out for the farm. It is getting stocked, plus it looks like I get the 3rd pick in the draft. Detroit should be dangerous next year.
Outlook before FA.... 70-75 wins
