Mets please
I'll Save the sheer panic of trying to find a gm for the 2nd worst FO in baseball (since Porter took the worst).
I wish to purchase and run Kansas City Royals like I have Minnesota Twins in S3SL.
I will take the Brew Crew
we were thinking it'd wind up the last team chosen. Glad it has a suitor.Quote:

Looks like everything is shaping up real nicely... got some good vets from each of the two leagues, and everyone who's signed up I know we can rely on to have a good league.
quick question.
Coaches and stuff are turned off right?
Yessir. For some reason, they're listed, but they have no power whatsoever. Once every GM is set, I will edit your names into the manager spot too.
Question: My team doesnt have money for FA and debt of -$5 millions in cash, are they going to be edited, like everyone start with some cash?
It's unfortunate, but the only team (for some odd reason) that banked without cash is the Mets. Hammer and I pretty much decided we wouldn't edit anything, including payroll, even though in real life the Mets will be spenders. We want it to be realistic, but at the same time, we don't want to commandeer to every team to make sure they're in a boat to spend money or not spend money based on real life. If that were the case, we'd probably have to edit a lot of teams.
You can change teams right now if you'd like. Not sure why the Mets finished without any money truthfully, but my guess is the Shawn Green trade may have pushed them through the roof financially.
If you don't want to change teams, you can definitely explore trades before we begin free agency (which will hopefully be whenever we have a full league) to free up cap space, and if you come to agreement with a team that has a GM, feel free to send it into Hammer and we'll review it and get it posted before free agency begins.
In that case, I change my team to Texas, but you would have problem in finding a Mets GM with that debt.
nah, if worst comes to worst... ill take the mets and figure that debacle out.
infact... that is what im going to do. im going to take the mets.
I challenge anyone to substantiate why the Baltimore Orioles and Peter Angelos for the well-earned title of worst FO in MLB!!!Quote:

I can go on for days.
I'll take the Orioles.
6 teams to go, we got pms out to 3 guys and nick is asking one of his friends to take the atlanta slot... so if all works out, hopefully we'll have 2 spots to go by the end of the day. and even if none of them work out... 6 to go is not bad.
