Seconded. It's nice to be able to sit back and watch other people scratch and claw for their playoff lives.

You know, that never seems to work out well for the Mets in MSL. I'm just sayin'

Or me in this league. One of these years, I'll make a World Series (I hope)

The NL West kicks ass. But no one is kicking ass like Evan freaking Longoria. OPS above 1 over the last 4 months. If I survive the brutal division it's because of my offense.

NL West might be fun for the outsiders to watch, but its brutal living in that division right now. I don't think my team is going to keep up with Arizona and Anaheim. Sucks because I felt really confident about making a playoff run this year. I expected some of my Triple-A bats to develop this year, but it wasn't meant to be.

Well, I wouldn't mind being in that division with my team. Would be fun.

This supposed to be a down year for me. I added no one in FA and made maybe 3 trades (one to cut salary). You have Snydergaard and that will keep you in it. All 4 teams in the division pitch extremely well. Arizona has the advantage with not committing errors. You have the best SP pitcher in NL. I have the best offense and bullpen of the bunch. CJ has a scrappy bunch of veterans.

To put this into perspective: Minnesota would be last in this division

    Re: 2016 Tomfoolery

And for as lucky as I was last year, I've been just as unlucky this year. I wouldn't write off the top run producing offense in the National League just yet.

11-6 in August with series of:
Ketchner aging badly (3 of the losses were his).
    Beat Chicago twice in Wrigley.
Winning 2 of 3 in Arizona.
    Beating KC twice in KC.
I did go 1-2 against Anaheim (Zimmerman rocked, Jackson outpitched Maholm,

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

    Re: 2016 Tomfoolery

The reason why our offenses are not as good is because all 4 teams have a team era of 4.04 and lower.

The top run producing offense in the NL has only scored 19 more runs than the division leader.

My pitching is just incredible this year. But that seems to usually lead me to a first round loss.
