Halladay is 4-0 lifetime against the Twins with a 2.17 ERA in eight games. Minnesota won four of six from the Jays last season and have won eight of the last 12 matchups over the last two years.

Huge pitching matchup today! I had to pick the Jays on this one though. Very hard decision.

Yeah, first time in 8 years that Brad Radke isn't starting the opener.

I see a low-scoring game, obviously. Like 3-2 or so.

Twins get two solo HR (T. Batista, S. Stewart) off Halladay in the 7th and 8th and made 4-3

Bottom of the 8th, Jays get a two out single by Reed Johnson then Alex Rios hit a HR to make it 6-3

top of the 9th BJ Ryan comes in to close it out

Just got done watching this game.

I'm no Blue Jay fan, but I've had Halladay on my fantasy team for the last 4 years and he's been awesome. He was flat out DEALING tonight, worked quickly as usual. Got screwed by two errors, but I guess that's to be expected when you trade Orlando Hudson for Troy Glaus.

Anyways, Halladay worked around those errors nicely. And I was pretty deflated when he hung that breaking ball to Shannon Stewart. But pretty awesome standing ovation that the crowd gave him when Gibbons pulled him in the 8th inning. Crowd was electric.

How about Alex Rios's homerun? Dude, he BARELY swung at that pitch and took a 96 mph fastball to opposite field off Jesse Crain on top of that. Nasty nasty nasty.
