Sheffield's future response:
"WHERE DA **** IS TORONTO. I AINT GONNA GO PLAY FOR NO TORONTO. **** THAT"
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Sheffield is going nowhere.
trust me Toronto doesn't want Sheffield either
The Jays giving up their best relief pitcher from last season, probably the best 2B in the AL (at least in fielding) and a upcoming 5 tool player in Rios for someone who wouldn't even want to play here
yeah great trade

Orlando Hudson isn't even top 5 on my list. And Rios is NOT a five tool player. Not even close.

I thought Torii Hunter was the captian of the Twins. Even if he isn't I can see them parting ways. You saw what happened to that team after he went down.
I'd do it in a heartbeat if I was the yanks, I love Sheff but he's getting older and we'd be a better team w/ the improvement in CF and in the pen. I don't think it will ever happen but i'd do it if it could be done.
I said upcoming 5 tool player, he's missing the power and hopefully that comes with more experience and trainingOriginally Posted by General

I would do this in half a second if the Yankees could.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
The Yanks would be big time winners in this deal. Twins would be the laughing stock of the deal.

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

WHAT?! Take it from a fan of their competition, when the Twins make a trade, they always come out the winner (see: Fransisco Liriano, Boof Bosner, and Joe Nathan for A.J. Pierzynski). The Twins would get a replacement CF who is projected to be one of the best and as has been said has all 5 tools but power, which are the kind of players they like, and a good defensive 2B who can hit (at least better than what they have now). The Yankees would also get good value in this deal, getting the CF they covet and a decent bullpen arm while dumping one of their bloated salaries. That leaves Toronto, who would be the actual laughingstock of this deal by giving up a decent pen arm and a good OF to get a bloated salary dumped on them. Not to mention an aging hitter who may have 2 good years left and will be upset the entire time he's in Toronto. Not a chance this happens if I'm the Blue Jays GM, but I pull the trigger if I'm the GM of either of the other 2 teams.Originally Posted by Slyder
