The Jays fight back a lot and never say die, thats been the attitude the whole season
as for why the Jays are not further along the standing
1. they don't play teams below .500 very well
2. no real power in the middle of the lineup
3. slow starts for important players at the start of the season (Ted Lilly, Vernon Wells, and Corey Koskie)
4. not enough support for pitcher not named Roy Halladay
5. not winning enough close games
6. no big winning streaks, longest has been 4 wins all season
7. "consistent at being inconsistent" Jamie Campbell, Jays play by play man on Sportsnet
8. Bullpen is still young and shakey
