Blue Jays Moyer pitching for the Jays now

According to Shannon Drayer of ESPN 710 in Seattle, Jamie Moyer has signed a minor league deal with the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays have yet to make an official announcement, but Drayer hears that he will be with the organization's Triple-A affiliate on Thursday. Moyer recently asked for and was granted his release by the Orioles after posting a 1.69 ERA and 16/0 K/BB ratio in 16 innings with Triple-A Norfolk. It's not a bad spot for Moyer given the rash of injuries in the Blue Jays' rotation, but we're not optimistic about his chances for success in the American League East. The 49-year-old southpaw was knocked around to the tune of a 5.70 ERA in 10 starts with the Rockies earlier this season.
Is three still a magic number? I don't see him helping the Jays chances at all.

He has a better chance pitching in Seattle than Toronto.

    DON'T SEE HIM HELPING!!!!!

    Rotation for the remainder of the week... W-Romero T-Cecil, F-TBA, S-TBA, S-TBA.

TBA is gonna have a dead arm very soon. All of our good pitching prospects are too far away, and those arms in AAA are basically Moyer. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Has to be the knee-jerk for Alvarez having elbow trouble, right?

I hear Kevin Correia is available, Blue Jays!

ALVAREZ!!!!!!! 4 out of our 5 starters are down. Morrow, Drabek, Huthinson, all out as well. Cecil got the call up the other day to replace one of those guys. Scott Richmond as well is up with the team along with this Perez kid. I can't even remember who all has been called up in the last week.

Good news. Alvarez won't miss his start, and Chris Laffey (!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!) is pitching somewhat decent tonight.
