Blue Jays Litsch's career in doubt

Jesse Litsch told Sportsnet's Barry Davis that his shoulder infection has become "career threatening."
The infection developed around Litsch's surgical wound in March and has only gotten worse despite efforts (including a second procedure) to correct it. He's on the 60-day disabled list and remains out indefinitely. The 27-year-old has a 4.16 ERA in 88 career appearances.
This sucks for Litsch. I had to have two surgeries on top of my ACL surgery to clean up infection so I know how scary this can be. I wish him the best and hopes they can get this cleaned up quick and he can return to the game.

That stinks. I liked Jesse. I remeber a couple years ago I couldn't decide who to put in my fantasy rotation and my wife told me to pick Jesse cause she likes that name lol.

He's got a look of a farmer. I per see a great future for him in that field.

Also, sucks, cause I liked using him as a long reliever in the bullpen.

Doctors are giving some good news saying the infection is gone.
