    Blue Jays Purcey finally traded

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Blue Jays have traded David Purcey to the A's for Danny Farquhar.
It's a swap of relievers. Purcey, 28, was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays last week and drew interest from many teams around the league. Farquhar, 24, registered a 3.52 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 76-plus innings last season at Double-A and had climbed his way to the Triple-A level this year with the Athletics.
After a lot of speculation and where he wound wind up, the A's finally trade for Purcey. YEt another pitching acquisition for Beane.

Great pickup for their system. If Purcey could put it together, he's got fantastic stuff.

Hilarious, considering "The Farq" was part of Davis trade.
