    Blue Jays A Canadian Team

Blue Jays president says he's open to team playing at Big O

How awesome would it be for the Jays to play a inter-league set, against the Marlins with Loria in a bullet-proof vest throwing out the first pitch?

This year the team went on a little mini-tour of western Canada drumming up support for the team. There certainly has been a renewed interest across Canada as the team builds towards a competing squad. Montreal has the stadium sitting empty for the majority of the year, so I am sure the city would love to see it used for something.

There are fans in "La Belle Province" that still love their baseball (hey, that "Dirty" guy comes to mind) so it wouldn't hurt.

I'm not sure about the rest of Montreal, but I could never bring myself to root for the Blue Jays. No way.

Loria would have traded off the bullet proof vest for whatever is left in the Met's farm system.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?

: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

    Re: A Canadian Team

The other year, there was a bunch of people from Quebec down for the BoSox game I went too. I saw more Expos gear than I did for the visiting team (Minnesota).

There are also a lot of people like yourself that could never bring themselves to cheering for any team from Toronto.

And yet there are a surprisingly high number (relatively speaking) of Raptors "fans" in this city. I want to punch each and every single person I see on the street who wears Raptors gear in the face.

That's kind of like how I feel about San Francisco Bay Area Laker fans or 49er fans in L.A.
