For 2010, I kneel before Bautista.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

I think Bautista will reach 50 easily. Have all 48 been pulled to LF?? If so that is just beyond amazing.
Bautista must have been training with Brady Anderson in the offseason.

No Luis Gonzalez?
Is Bautista's seasons one of the best, if not the best, talent emerging seasons we've seen in recent memory? And what I mean by that is someone, not a prospect, who has floundered and then all of sudden flourishes. David Ortiz is one name I can think of, but he had a few good seasons with the Twins before becoming a star in Boston, so the transformation wasn't that dramatic.

Andres Torres has been quite a find for the Giants. We would be nowhere near the top of the West without him. He's not having the great season like Bautista but has been one of the top leadoff men and playing GG caliber defense.
50 HR's for Baustista will be easy. They are saying it is all because of his new leg kick which is generating much more power.
I don't think Brady Anderson had the plate discipline Bautista has had this season, which makes his year that even more awesome. Plus I think Anderson's forearms were bigger than Bautista's waist.

Bautista hits #49 tonight.
... and with that he tipped his OPS over 1.000. Wouldn't that be awesome if it stayed north of that to end up on his baseball card?

They still make baseball cards?
One thing you gotta recognize is that Jose has been with Pittsburgh before showing up in Upper Canada.
Not a team that grooms quality players in recent years.
