Question Richard Romero nearly no-hit the White Sox

His no-hitter got broken up in the 8th inning when... Alex Rios homered.

What's up with Romero dominating so far? Breakout pitcher of 2010? When will this Blue Jays hot streak come to an end? Even Kevin Gregg is dealing. This is bizarro MLB so far.

That was a sick showing. Ridiculous. I think I am going to have to hunt down the archive on this one. I have heard of Romero, the prospect. Now I welcome myself to enjoy Romer the major leaguer.

colour me very surprise by Romero

when he was drafted I wasn't very happy, but JP may have left the Jays with at least one good young pitcher

I've known about Romero since he appeared in the HS section of the L.A. Times. He was the city's strikeouts leader. I didn't follow his career at Cal State Fullerton, so when I read Toronto drafted him 6th overall, I was like, "Shit, that ese went that high?"

And was decent to continue on the season last year as well.
Looking like a good piece to the puzzle.

His ERA got worse by each month. I would not call that decent.

Well he was pitching a lot more than he ever has, being a rookie is kinda hard on people.
And you gotta remeber he played on a Jays team that wasn't all that deep in the SP role besides that guy we didn't trade until the end.
