    With Baltimore signing Kevin Gregg, Toronto now has 7 picks in the top 72 for the upcoming draft.

    According to SI.com's Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays are "pressing" to acquire free agent reliever Brian Fuentes.
    All they have to do is meet his lofty asking price. Fuentes, 35, registered a healthy 2.81 ERA and 47/20 K/BB ratio over 48 innings for the Angels and Twins last season and he has a ton of experience in the ninth inning. The Jays could decide that his demands are too high, just like many other clubs have, and stick with their plan to use Octavio Dotel in save situations.
    I like Fuentes a lot better than I do Dotel
