Report: Phillies, Angels making push for Jays' Halladay

The Phillies are said to be including pitcher J.A. Happ, and either outfield prospect Domonic Brown or Michael Taylor in their offer.

The Angels package is believed to include pitcher Joe Saunders, shortstop Erick Aybar and outfield prospect Peter Bourjos.

In a separate report, the New York Daily News says that there is a chance that left-handed pitcher Cole Hamels could be included in a Halladay deal.

Not a big fan of that package from the Halos. Saunders and Aybar are good, but I'd like to see 2 better prospects included.

Reagins said the Blue Jays have targeted Saunders, Bourjos and Mike Napoli. It's even "possible" that the deal could be expanded to send more Blue Jays to Anaheim.

Napoli instead of Aybar? Come on, now.

This is starting to look bad for the Jays if they have to send "more" to the Halos for that in return.
