    Report: Blue Jays discussing Overbay-for-Snyder swap

    With last season's starting catcher Rod Barajas ready to become a free agent, the Toronto Blue Jays appear to be looking at adding a catcher via trade.

    According to the Arizona Republic, the Blue Jays and Arizona Diamondbacks are discussing a deal that would send first baseball Lyle Overbay to the Diamondbacks for catcher Chris Snyder.
    Overbay hasn't been the same his hand injury and if Barajas does leave that would suck, big reason why the Jays pitching didn't suck so bad

    Snyder doesn't seem like the answer but may serve as a stop gap
