    Then we both agree he's declining. He's not the best but he's not horrible. Horrible makes it sound like he's the worst SS ever to play the game which is what I disagree with.

    I agree about the arm. I just like his hustle and willingness to do the little things to win.

    Horrible means horrible. Worst ever means worst ever.

    I would qualify "bottom three in the NL" and "bottom eight in the majors" horrible.

    He's been very bad recently, and since he's not aging in reverse, that's not going to change. He will be very bad defensively this year.

    There you go, every team has done the Royce Clayton experiment it seems like. He was good in his prime too.
