The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have agreed to four-year contracts through the 2010 seasons with both ROGERS SPORTSNET and TSN.
"This agreement provides the club with great exposure and allows our dedicated fans to experience the excitement of Blue Jays baseball throughout the summer on Sportsnet and TSN. That being said, we are still working to give our fans even more. I hope to increase the number of games broadcast in 2007 and subsequent seasons to at least 145 games."
President and CEO, PAUL GODFREY
ROGERS SPORTSNET are currently set to broadcast 116 games in the upcoming 2007 season. Sportsnet will broadcast all of their home games in high definition as well as a number of road games.
TSN will broadcast at least 80 games in the four year partnership with 20 of those coming in the 2007 season. All TSN games will be broadcast in high definition.
As part of the new partnerships, both Sportsnet and TSN will each broadcast a minimum of one spring training game each of the four years.
