Scouting Report:
Benson and Janssen are more than familiar with each other, having faced off three other times this season. Benson has won two of those meetings, though Janssen got the most recent victory June 7 at Camden Yards. Only twice in 13 starts has Benson been unable to reach the fifth inning, and he's gone six or more eight times.

Janssen has won his last four decisions, most recently picking up a victory against the Orioles June 7. In Baltimore, he gave up one run and six hits in six innings, while recording five strikeouts and no walks.


Player to watch
Lyle Overbay has hit .313 (5-for-16) with five RBIs in his career against Benson. The Jays first baseman is hitting .375 (6-for-16) with a homer and three RBIs in his last four games.

I will miss most of the game due to hockey game, Stanley Cup Final has first priority over everything.

clearly the ump's fault on that one, there should have been no mistake on that play and can't beleieve he was safe

They just showed the replay on the Orioles network, and I thought the call was either way. Overbay should have charged in, and ran to the base. Then there would be no question. As it is, his lack of hustle causes the Jays to be down by a run.

Anyway, Janssen looks off today. He's really missing his targets. Many pitches are floating up, and floating outside. Just not looking sharp today.
